The food was overall very good. Ambiance and atmosphere is pleasant. The staff and host were very welcoming Our waitress was lovely; but she had such a thick, thick accent-my partner and I both couldn't understand most of what she was saying. She was reading off reviews, not only with the thick accent, but very very fast-so it was unfortunate that we really couldn't hear what the specials were. She was, otherwise a wonderful server. Friendly, competent, attentive, and professional. I wish they'd switch out the truffle aioli on the carpaccio, with a good quality olive oil. The profiterole dessert was awful. I requested chocolate on the side. They were dry, and there was maybe a Teaspoon of gelato in each one. I didn't eat them-the owner did not take them off the bill. Told me if I had them with the chocolate on them it wouldn't be dry. He kept offering other things. I wasn't interested in anything else. Seems he could have easily removed a $12 item from our bill. It was stale and inedible. That would be reason enough not to return. It's poor business. Anytime I've ever had an issue at a restaurant, they've not hesitated to take it off the bill. Anyways, rant over. Pasta dishes were nice. Menu has lots of nice options.

We passed by Aroma often going to Adams and finally decided to give it a try. My only complaint? We didn't come here sooner! The waiter bragged on the steak being their best dish. I normally have steak but let my wife have the steak and I had the sole. The steak was amazing- crispy edges and flavorful finish prepared perfectly. Had the strawberry salad & sol was excellent. We will be back.

This is one of the best Italian places in the Hudson Valley. If you haven't been, try it. My only issue is that their mixed drinks aren't the best.

Based on my visit in the past- Ambiance and flavor under one beautiful roof. Behind Adams Wappingers It's a great place for date night or small groups. You pay a little bit more but the overall experience is definitely worth it.

A group of us went to Aroma for restaurant week. The place is lovely, nice ambience, not noisy, very pleasant surroundings. Our waitress Chloe was professional, attentive and with a lovely smile at all times. She brought us a basket of bread served cold! Went back, should have been brought warm without asking! The dipping oil was quite nice. The menu was quite nice, many choices. For starters with all had the Mozzarella with smoked prosciutto , and tomatoes, a nice tasty dish. only one of us has the Arugula with wild mushroom and shavings of Parmigiano drizzled with Olive oil, she thought the Parmegiano Reggiano was kind of missing in action !! The home made Potato Gnocchi tossed with a Pork Ragu and Parmigiano Reggiano was liked by the two people that ordered it. Ravioli filled with Maine Lobster , shrimp and Ricotta in a light cream sauce looked quite good. My grilled Black Angus Rib-Eye Steak had to go back as it was no grilled rare as ordered. The next one was perfectly season, rare and it was delicious. The rainbow trout needed a better sauce, was kind of blend. Desserts were ok, Pear cake with Gelato , was nothing to write home about. The Zeppole, served with a Chocolate and Nutella Dipping, could have been much better, if served pipping hot and the sauce a bit warmer. All in all it was ok. Compliments to our waitress Chloe , who was on top of things at all times.
